ASPENBEAT RADIO: Curated New Music May 2015

Broadcast on Aspen Public Radio
Saturday, May 9, 2015
Host: Andrea Young

How will I learn if you don’t teach me anymore
Who’ll be my calm before the storm
Where will I land if you don’t lead me through the grey
Whats left of me once it carries you away away away
Who am I after the hurricane

Host and producer Andrea Young curates an hour’s worth of new music for at least one Aspenbeat radio show each month, found in her constant quest for the next ‘Constant Repeat’ song.  Pop, rock, alternative and singer-songwiters are all part of this month’s selections, featuring Forest Blakk, Malky, Tame Impala, Ringo Starr, Pops Staples, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Best Coast, Wolf Alice, Immigrant Union, Ed Hale, Chris Braide, Jodee, James Taylor, James McMurtry, Nellie McKay and Kendrick Lamar.

Forest Blakk, Malky, Tame Impala, Immigrant Union, Chris Braide, and Jodee are all artists that Aspenbeat learned about through the music business conference ‘MUSEXPO‘ held in April in Los Angeles each year.  The conference highlights independent and emerging artists.
